Blunt Enterprises, LLC Promotes
Member Jonathan H. Blunt to Executive Vice President
Blunt Enterprises, LLC’s Managing Member, Roger
R. Blunt, P.E. recently announced the promotion of Jonathan
Blunt to Executive Vice President. Blunt Enterprises was
established in 1979 by Roger R. Blunt and DeRosette H.
Blunt. Blunt Enterprises is a holding company for Essex
Construction, LLC and Tyroc Construction, LLC.
Jonathan Blunt graduated from the University of Maryland
Eastern Shore with a BS in Construction Management Technology.
He brings 20 years of construction experience to his new
position. Having worked summers with Tyroc and Essex,
his full-time career with Essex began as Project Engineer
on the $30 million Coca-Cola Fountain Syrup Processing
Plant in Allentown, PA, whose project team was recognized
as Project Team of the Year. Promoted to Project Manager,
Blunt was instrumental in Essex’s being awarded
its first design/build project for the Maryland Department
of Transportation.
He has provided construction management, general contracting,
and subcontracting services to a wide variety of clients
in commercial, institutional, and residential construction.
His responsibilities include executive oversight of construction
operations for the Enterprise. He has extensive experience
providing QA/QC Field Inspections on large industrial
projects.
In announcing Blunt Enterprises, LLC’s new Executive
Vice President, Managing Member Roger Blunt stated, “Jonathan
Blunt’s promotion is deserved richly. It marks a
new phase in the development of the Enterprise.”
