Constructed at the turn of the 20th century, the First
Baptist Church of Hereford needed to expand and modernize,
while maintaining its historic presence, in order to service
its parishioners. Not as easy task! First Baptist of Hereford
turned to Essex Construction to manage a modern classroom
addition and renovation of the historic church's sanctuary.
During examination it was found that structural elements
of the roof required replacement as well as the HAVC systems.
Through these major changes to First Baptist of Hereford
its historic place in the community was never sacrificed.
