The beautiful and gothic St. James Episcopal Church
was struck by lighting on Father's Day 1993. On June 11,
1995, St. James Episcopal Church reopened in a totally
renovated church, complete with new electrical and mechanical
systems. Matching new materials to the original red pine
interior and true Buckingham Slate roof from England and
refurbishing a 100 year old pipe organ, Essex Construction,
LLC's project team successfully duplicated St. James'
1864 original appearance.
