Coca-Cola Lehigh Valley Syrup Plant
Allentown, Pennsylvania
|
Coca-Cola Fountain's new Lehigh Valley Syrup Plant is
located in the Macungie Township, just outside of Allentown,
Pennsylvania. The project consists of a 250,000 square
foot shipping warehouse and syrup processing plant. The
plant is situated on fifty acres, with over 350,000 square
feet of truck parking available. The project is served
by three new rail spurs and twenty-five loading docks
that enable the plant to receive raw material and ship
250,000 gallons of Coca-Cola Syrup daily.
Constructed through the winter of 1995/96, this new project
lost over 35 calendar days due to inclement weather. Essex,
working with Coca-Cola and The Benham Group, re-sequenced
and rescheduled the work to keep construction on schedule
and the plant on schedule for producing product. |
